Since the creation of Paack, six years ago, our transport company has been growing exponentially, exceeding all the initial expectations and predictions for each and every year. Our Team has also grown very quickly, we are 600+ Paackers as of today! Similar to that, our entire distribution network has also undergone major growth over the years, and we now are present and working in more than 100 cities in different European countries.
Paack’s original and main market is still located in Spain, where we count on more than 15 distribution and cross-docking platforms located in Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Zaragoza, Sevilla, Málaga, Murcia, A Coruña, Bilbao and others. Moreover, our company already operates practically all over the Spanish territory, since it has last mile hubs in other big cities like Castellón, Guadalajara, Lérida, Logroño, Pamplona, Toledo, Lugo, Alicante, Almería, Huelva, Granada, Córdoba and Cádiz, amongst many, many others.
On the other hand, the fast development we are experiencing has enabled us to expand our services in countries like England, France and Portugal. Paack is consolidating its presence in England, where our customers already include many brands of international prestige. Additionally, the company’s presence in France is also growing at an amazing pace and, over the years, it has expanded, surpassing the limits of the capital, towards the regions of the South, East and West, where our presence is indeed very strong now. Our goal is to end the year with 75% territorial coverage in France, which we are convinced that, collectively, we will be able to do it. Finally, in Portugal, we continue moving forward, acquiring a higher market share and gaining new customers whose needs are increasingly demanding. This constant growth makes us very optimistic about the huge potential that we envisage in this country. Since our operations have expanded enormously, we are expecting to give closure to 2022 with an 80% coverage in the country. Also, our great connections between Spain and Portugal, enable us to offer Next-Day deliveries, 7 days a week, to all our customers.
Our expansion doesn’t stop there since, by the end of March, we intend to get things moving in Italy as well! How amazing is that? A clear indication of Paack’s never-stopping evolution! We plan to get things started in the cities of Rome, Milan, Turin and Bologna. We intend to keep on expanding once these are consolidated and, we will, most probably, close 2022 with various other new exciting openings in the Italian territory.
In Spain, we’re also increasing our already great presence by expanding our activity in locations, such as Vitoria, Alicante, Bailén. Mallorca, Granada, Tarragona and Benavente. With these in mind, we have enough strategic distribution points to offer coverage to almost all the national territory. Our aim is to give closure to 2022 with 100% coverage in Spain.
On a different note, as we have already announced in other communications, we count on distribution points in three of the United Kingdom’s major cities: Manchester, Liverpool and Birmingham, and their activity has allowed us to potentiate Paack’s influence beyond the capital of England, where we are already consolidated as of today. As well as these distribution centres, in these next coming weeks, we will begin to expand our operations across the country, especially in areas where our presence is not quite as impressive yet, as it is the case of Scotland, as well as the very South of England. In the UK, it is also worth mentioning that our sustainability plan is very, very advanced. We closed February achieving >80% zero-emission last-mile deliveries, UK-wide, which supposes a highly impressive evolution.
As we have already explained, Paack’s growth is unstoppable. In addition to the launch of Italy and expanding our operations in all the countries we are already present; we will be facing new challenges in the coming months that will help our company grow and demonstrate the efficiency and capability of the service we deliver. Of course, we are able to do all this thanks to our outstanding Team, which will also continue to grow accordingly, so that we continue to provide the best response to the needs of a never static market.
